Unfortunately hatching took place in England and has been trying to overcome that the rest of his life, as demonstrated by his aversion to the England rugby team.
Lived in Cardston and graduated from High School in 1984 - yes I'm that old. Mission in Toronto, then home to NZ where lived for the next 8 years. Returned to Cardston after graduating from Medical school in 1996. Started medical practice and has worked here since.
Have 6 children, ages 24 to 11, lovely wife who I don't deserve - Shelley - insult her and I will eat you.
Love sports, love youth in a feeble attempt to keep me young. Enjoy rugby, basketball, golf, dirt biking, snowmobiling.

Coach Lennard:
Lennard Nichols was born in Germany and grew up in Harvey, New Brunswick. He started participating in athletics in Grade 7 and continued through high school playing Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Rowing and Rugby. He began his Rugby Career in Grade 9 at the age of 15 while attending Rothesay Collegiate School in Rothesay, New Brunswick. In addition to playing flank (8) for his High School team, he also played various positions for the City of Fredericton League. In his Senior year of High School he was awarded the Fairweather Memorial for Leadership, Scholarship and Athletics, and the Bob Watt Memorial Trophy for Male Athlete of the Year.
He served a two year full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in the Switzerland Geneva mission (French speaking). He married his sweetheart, Mary Lou, a year and a half later. They lived in New Brunswick for the next six years while he started and finished his schooling as a Power Lineman. They then moved to Alberta and now reside in Cardston with their children, Emma and Ben.
Coach Norton:
Matt Norton was born in England and moved several times while he was young (10 times in 14 years), But spent “most” of his time in Calgary. He played Football and Rugby growing up and is a motorcycle addict. In 1991 his Football team was Provincial Tier 1 Football Champions where he played as wide receiver. In 1990/91 his Rugby team were the City Champions, and he played as a Varsity Flanker. He also played for the U-16 and U-19 Alberta Rugby Team and later played for the Calgary Saints Rugby Club and were the league Champions in 1992/93.
Later, he served as a Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints in Provo, Utah. Matt married Deedra Serene Lybbert in August 1997 in the Cardston Alberta Temple, and is a Father to Four amazing girls (Serena, Savanna, Raygan and Rowan). He began coaching Rugby in 2014 and it was his first time ever coaching. His likes are: Photography, U2, reading, creative writing, poetry, the colour red and has a diet coke addiction. His hero is Superman and his favourite quote is, "Make yesterday jealous of today." He currently resides in Cardston, but commutes to Lethbridge where he works as a registered nurse at the Chinook Regional Hospital.
Coach James:
James Fraser grew up in Drayton Valley, Alberta. He began his athletic career in Grade 7 playing Volleyball and continued through the years participating in wrestling, football, volleyball and rugby. He began his Rugby Career at age 17 while attending Bowness High School in Calgary, Alberta. His High School team traveled to Whales (in the U.K.), for 14 days, to compete and ended up winning 6 of 9 matches. The position he played was Prop and shortly after graduating High School he began playing in Rugby leagues for the city of Calgary and from there was recruited to play for Team Alberta.
He could have chosen to continue playing for team Alberta and gone to France and played in World's for U-19, but decided instead to serve a two year full-time mission with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in Atlanta Georgia. After serving a mission he continued in the sport of Rugby playing for the Calgary Saracen's Rugby Club. He married a few years later and was shortly after accepted into Boise State University. While there he played on the Boise State Rugby team and served as the team Vice President and later as the team's President. He also coached High School Rugby while playing for BSU. James currently resides in Hill Spring with his wife Angela, who is expecting another baby in October, and his son Thor.

Angela Fraser is the Author, and Editor, of the Cardston Rugby Blog. She also is a running and mental training specialist. She began her athletic career at an early age joining her older siblings on the gymnastic mats and began playing in city soccer leagues at the age of 5. She continued to play soccer every summer until the age of 10 when her family moved to Alaska. From there she joined the City softball leagues and in middle school participated in soccer, track & field, softball and dance. Once in High school she participated in Cross country, Dance, Softball (All-Star), Soccer, Track & Field, Basketball and the School Play. But particularly shined in the area's of Dance and Track & Field. Her 9th grade year of High school she broke 3 school records in Track & Field placing in the top 8 every year in sprinting and middle distance at State. She continued to break records throughout her High School career and received MVP every year, from grade 9, on the women's varsity track team. She was showcased multiple times on radio and in the newspaper both local and statewide. Her successes came from goal setting, hard work and positive thinking. She attended BYU Track camp before her 11th grade year learning from Olympic athletes. She received an Associate of Science Degree from Brigham Young University - Idaho minoring in Dance. She has also taken the NASM Personal Fitness Training course and has taken dance classes from the Alberta School of Ballet. She loves athletics and learning. She is currently a Photographer and Videographer for "Fraser Film," and is married to coach James. They have one son and are expecting another baby in October.
